A SECOND national award has been won by a Bognor Regis company for its work with people with dementia.
Frame of Mind collected the art and framing industry’s Innovation Award against tough opposition.
Louise Hay, the chief executive of the Fine Art Trade Guild, said: “Frame of Mind are well deserved winners of the Innovation Award.
“The combination of professional framing practices and intensive support for clients means this project offers meaningful activities that have therapeutic benefits for people with dementia.
“The Fine Art Trade Guild has been with Theresa and Ian Bates since they started up and we’re delighted to celebrate their continued success with them.”
Frame of Mind is a community interest company run by Ian and Theresa Bates on the Arun Business Park on Shripney Road.
The project is supported by West Sussex County Council and has seen its clients’ enjoy a marked improvement in their wellbeing.
Mrs Bates, the company’s operations director, said: “I can’t believe such a small firm as ours has scooped a national award yet again. It’s all down to the hard work of the staff and volunteers.”
